US and China discussing reciprocal nuclear site visits, CNN reports
Original: US, CHINA DISCUSSING RECIPROCAL NUCLEAR SITE VISITS - CNN
CNN reports that the United States and China are discussing reciprocal visits to each other's nuclear sites, a step aimed at building transparency between the two nuclear powers. If agreed, such visits would be a rare confidence-building measure between Washington and Beijing, whose nuclear arsenals and ambitions have become a growing source of friction.
Why now: A reported US-China nuclear transparency step would be a significant, unusual development in relations between the two powers.
