Mastodon users voice solidarity with Palestinians amid Gaza war

Original: RE: https:// mastodon.social/@rania40/11739 2920586391321 Our palestinian friends of the Fediverse are not terrorists BU

Social media users are pushing back against characterisations of Palestinians as terrorists, with posts describing them instead as victims of what the posters call a genocide in Gaza. The messages direct anger at Israeli leaders including Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel Katz, and call for an end to the fighting. Similar expressions of solidarity are circulating widely in online communities.

Why now: Ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza are prompting renewed online debate over how Palestinians are portrayed.
