19-Year-Old Launches Ghost, a $3,499 Local AI Computer
Original: 19-Year-Old Founds Ghost and Launches $3,499 Local AI Computer Core
A 19-year-old founder has launched Ghost, a startup selling the Core, a $3,499 desktop computer built to run AI models locally rather than in the cloud. The device is pitched at users who want private, offline AI processing at home. Early reactions online are focusing on the founder's young age and whether the premium price can compete with mainstream AI hardware.
Why now: The unusual combination of a very young founder and a high-priced consumer AI device is drawing attention and debate about local AI hardware.
