Millions of Migrants Cut Off by New Trump Benefits Rules
Original: 🚨“They’re CUT OFF!” - MILLIONS of Migrants SHUT OUT by Trump’s New Benefits Rules
New benefits rules introduced under Donald Trump are reported to leave millions of migrants unable to access public assistance, with advocates warning that affected families have been effectively cut off from support. Critics say the restrictions hit legal immigrants as well as undocumented ones, while supporters argue the measures protect taxpayer resources. Immigration groups and legal aid organisations are watching closely for the practical fallout.
Why now: A sweeping change to migrant benefits eligibility has just been announced, prompting strong reactions from both critics and supporters of the Trump administration's immigration policy.
