Old Norwegian telephone boxes become tiny free libraries
Original: Old Norwegian telephone boxes get turned into little libraries # libraries # Norway # books
Norway is giving its disused red telephone boxes a second life by converting them into small street-side libraries. Images of the repurposed booths, stocked with books for passers-by to borrow or swap, have been shared widely online, with readers praising the idea as a charming way to preserve the iconic kiosks while promoting reading and community book-sharing.
Why now: The creative reuse of nostalgic telephone kiosks as community libraries strikes people as a wholesome, photogenic idea worth sharing.
