flydubai co-pilot cites 'revenge for Gaza' after failed attack
Original: 'Revenge for Gaza': What flydubai Omani co-pilot told interrogators after failed attack
An Omani co-pilot working for flydubai has been interrogated after a failed attack, and officials say he told interrogators he acted as 'revenge for Gaza'. The claim ties the incident directly to anger over the war in Gaza and has raised questions about airline crew vetting and security. Details of the failed attack and the man's motives remain limited as the investigation continues.
Why now: The reported Gaza revenge motive links a failed attack on an airline crew to the ongoing war, making it highly newsworthy across the region.
