Original: KFile uncovers Talarico’s past comments on defund police movement

CNN's KFile team has uncovered past comments by Texas politician James Talarico in which he expressed support for the 'defund the police' movement. The resurfaced remarks are drawing scrutiny as Talarico gains a higher national profile, with critics likely to use them to question his positioning and supporters expected to defend the comments as being taken out of context.
