Football fans are debating the Pittsburgh Steelers' use of one of their young players, with one saying that being treated as a day-three draft pick would be an insult, and that he would even warrant first or second-round value now. The complaint is that the team's system is failing the player badly, sparking broader discussion about how Pittsburgh develops its draft talent.

Why now: Fans are frustrated with the Steelers' development and deployment of a young player during the NFL season.
