A Canberra resident, addressing locals by the nickname Ken Behrens, is urging support for a community-funded radio station while calling for human rights for Palestinians. The appeal asks Australia to take greater action over what the post describes as war crimes, ethnic cleansing, apartheid and genocide against Palestinians, arguing that no one is free until everyone is.

Why now: Ongoing anger over Israel's war in Gaza is driving calls in Australia for stronger government action.
