New Tool Frees 12GB of Mac Storage by Removing Apple Intelligence
Original: Mac Users Reclaim 12GB+ of Storage With Apple Intelligence Removal Tool
Mac users are using a new open-source tool that deletes Apple Intelligence models from their machines, freeing up more than 12GB of storage. The utility is spreading quickly through the Mac community, with many users who do not use Apple's AI features welcoming the chance to reclaim disk space taken up by models installed automatically.
Why now: Many Mac users want the storage back and are dissatisfied that Apple's AI files take up space without an easy built-in removal option.
