Polanski condemns 'Zionism is racism' motion

Original: # Zack Polanski reaction to Zionism is racism motion Green Party leader Zack Polanski said: > Antisemitism and criticism

Green Party leader Zack Polanski has responded to a 'Zionism is racism' motion, saying antisemitism and criticism of the Israeli state are and must remain completely distinct. He argued that blurring the line between the two is not only wrong but itself antisemitic, and said it harms Jewish people. The remarks have drawn attention amid ongoing debate within the party over Israel-related motions.

Why now: An internal Green Party motion on Zionism has prompted the party leader to publicly warn against conflating anti-Zionism with antisemitism.
