Original: Green party of England and Wales facing ostracism over 'Zionism is racism' vote https://www.theguardian.com/politics/202

The Green Party of England and Wales is reportedly facing ostracism from European green parties after members voted to describe Zionism as racism. The vote, covered by the Guardian, has reportedly triggered backlash from allies abroad, including in Germany, and renewed internal debate over the party's stance on Israel and antisemitism. The party now risks isolation from its traditional European political family.

Why now: The vote has sparked a diplomatic backlash from sister green parties in Europe and controversy over antisemitism and Israel policy.
