A farmer is asking the public for ideas on how best to raise money to purchase land that will be used for cultivation in the coming season. The appeal is being run through an online crowdfunding page, with a goal the organiser hopes supporters will help bring to 100 percent. The request touches on themes of soil health, biodiversity and the environment, and invites people to share fundraising suggestions.
Why now: The fundraising campaign is actively seeking donations and engagement to reach its goal before the next planting season.
