Roberts strips Pages of ABS challenge rights after Game 1 miss

Original: Roberts pulls Pages' ABS challenge privileges after Game 1 miss

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts has taken away Andy Pages' ABS challenge privileges after a failed challenge in Game 1. The automated ball-strike system gives teams limited challenges, and a wasted one in a key moment prompted the decision. It highlights how closely managers are guarding their challenges early in the system's use.

Why now: The ABS challenge system is new to MLB, so teams' decisions about who gets to use challenges and when are drawing attention.
