Former Fars News Chief Calls for Iranian Atomic Capability
Original: Iran YouTube Stories: Former Fars News Chief Calls for Iranian Atomic Capability
The former head of Iran's Fars News Agency has publicly called for Iran to develop atomic capability, according to IranWire. The remarks come amid ongoing debate over Iran's nuclear programme and stalled negotiations with world powers. The intervention by a figure close to state media circles is drawing attention to hardline voices pushing Tehran toward a more assertive nuclear stance.
Why now: Iran's nuclear programme remains a live international issue, and a prominent pro-establishment figure openly endorsing atomic capability is notable.
