Original: ejército mexicano
Families of victims of Mexico's 'dirty war' say it is not enough that the Mexican army has acknowledged illegal acts committed during that period. Relatives of people who disappeared in counterinsurgency operations argue the recognition falls short of justice and accountability.
Why now: The army's admission of wrongdoing in the dirty war has reignited demands from victims' families for full justice.
