Google Maps adds McLaren F1 car icon option
Original: Google Maps now lets you turn your car into a McLaren F1
Google Maps has introduced a new vehicle icon that lets users display a McLaren F1 in place of the standard blue navigation arrow, 9to5Google reports. The addition brings the legendary 1990s McLaren supercar into the app's growing selection of navigation icons, letting drivers personalize their directions with a motorsport-themed touch.
Why now: The McLaren F1 is an iconic and rare supercar, so a free way to 'drive' one in Google Maps is a fun novelty people are sharing.
