Hillel Neuer tells Newsmax the UN scapegoats Israel
Original: Hillel Neuer on Newsmax: “The U.N. Scapegoats Israel”
Hillel Neuer, head of the watchdog group UN Watch, appeared on Newsmax arguing that the United Nations unfairly singles out and scapegoats Israel. The claim echoes a long-standing criticism from Israel's supporters that UN bodies apply a double standard to the country, particularly on resolutions concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Critics of the UN welcomed the remarks, while the organisation's defenders maintain its scrutiny of Israel reflects documented human rights concerns.
Why now: Ongoing debate over perceived UN bias against Israel, likely tied to current UN resolutions or diplomatic action on Israel
