Original: Town committees hear proposal for solar array on old landfill
Town committees in Harpswell, Maine have heard a proposal to build a solar array on the site of the town's former landfill. The plan would repurpose land that is otherwise difficult to develop, a common approach for community solar projects. Details on the proposal's size, cost and next steps for committee review have not yet been released.
