Roberts under scrutiny as Dodgers face playoff crisis
Original: ロバーツ監督
Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts is drawing criticism after the team fell into a 1-1 tie in their playoff series. New York papers blasted the Dodgers for surrendering their advantage, putting the club's championship chances in doubt, while Freddie Freeman called the situation the team's biggest challenge. Roberts also noted Shohei Ohtani is chasing too many pitches out of the zone, with his swing rate on balls reaching 73 percent.
Why now: The Dodgers' series is tied and Japanese fans are closely following Ohtani's struggles and Roberts' responses.
