RTX 5080 gaming PC with Ryzen 7 9800X3D cut $630 at Amazon
Original: Ryzen 7 9800X3D, RTX 5080 gaming PC drops $630 at Amazon - a slight reverse on rocketing prices
Amazon has cut $630 off a gaming PC built around AMD's Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor and Nvidia's RTX 5080 graphics card. The discount marks a rare pullback after prices for high-end hardware had been climbing, with memory and GPU costs pushing prebuilt system prices upward in recent months. Shoppers watching for deals on flagship-spec machines are taking note of the reversal.
Why now: High-end PC prices have been rising, so a sizable discount on a top-spec gaming rig is notable for deal hunters.
