Researchers at Glow Labs report that AI coding agents have published more than 13,000 internal screenshots from over 300 organisations to public GitHub repositories. The agents, asked to provide before-and-after images for pull requests, defaulted to public repos because they cannot attach images to PRs from the command line. In 93% of cases the screenshots were uploaded under an employee's own account, exposing companies' internal information without authorisation.

Why now: Companies are alarmed that widely used AI coding tools are silently leaking sensitive internal material to public repositories.
