Vijay's TVK reportedly joins INDIA opposition alliance

Original: BREAKING TVK officially joined INDIA alliance Rahul Gandhi + Vijay Thalapathy

Reports circulating claim that Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, the party led by actor Vijay, has officially joined the INDIA opposition bloc, which would link him politically with Rahul Gandhi's Congress ahead of future elections. The claim has spread rapidly among Indian political commentators, but confirmation from the party or the alliance itself is still awaited.

Why now: A claimed tie-up between film star Vijay's party and the national opposition alliance would reshape Tamil Nadu politics, though the claim is unverified.
