Two Philadelphia Theaters Get First Dibs on New Broadway Shows
Original: 2 Philadelphia theaters are first in line to produce new Broadway shows
Two Philadelphia theaters have secured the right to be first in line to produce new Broadway shows, according to WHYY. The arrangement gives the city's theater scene an unusual head start on developing productions before they reach New York, a milestone for Philadelphia's cultural standing.
