Warning issued: swing the stick and the next resignation is yours
Original: Don't swing the stick, or else the next resignation will be yours
A pointed warning is circulating in Indian political commentary: whoever 'swings the stick' risks being the next to resign. The remark, shared by the account CJP for India, frames recent resignations as a warning to those wielding power or harsh measures, implying accountability could reach the person giving the orders next.
Why now: It taps into ongoing speculation about resignations in Indian public life and who will be forced out next.
