Original: 12 weeks rule for Blue Badge holders - or risk £1,000 fine https:// fed.brid.gy/r/https://www.mirr or.co.uk/lifestyle/mo

Motorists who hold a Blue Badge are being warned to follow a little-known 12-week rule or face a fine of up to £1,000. Reports advise badge holders to check the conditions attached to their permit, which can expire or need renewal after a set period, and to keep their usage within the rules to avoid penalties.

Why now: Warnings about fines for Blue Badge misuse or expiry are circulating among UK drivers.
