Some Pixel 11 owners report Google Maps becoming nearly unusable in Android Auto, with the display flickering, freezing, or lagging behind while the rest of Android Auto keeps working normally. The problem appears limited to Maps itself rather than the car software, and affected users are waiting on a fix from Google.

Why now: A fresh software bug is degrading a core navigation feature for owners of Google's newest phone, prompting complaints and discussion online.
