Original: 'RUSSIA STOOD BY US WHEN WEST Backed A Military Regime', Jaishankar Exposes West On Cam | N18G
Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has accused Western powers of backing a military regime in India's past while Russia remained a reliable partner. In remarks captured on camera, he argued Moscow stood by New Delhi during a critical period, contrasting that with Western behaviour. The comments have drawn wide attention, reinforcing ongoing debate in India about its historical ties with Russia versus the West amid the Ukraine war.
Why now: India's balancing act between Russia and the West remains a hot topic as Jaishankar publicly criticises Western history with New Delhi.
