The UAE is highlighting the commercial potential of its space program after the Altair-1 satellite reached orbit and the Technology Innovation Institute's asteroid probe shipped ahead of its mission. Officials frame the milestones as proof the Gulf state can deliver operational missions and compete in the growing commercial space market, beyond its earlier Mars achievements.
