Streamer makes Twitch chat battle in fantasy war simulation
Original: I forced Twitch Chat to fight in a massive Fantasy War
Streamer DougDoug organised a large-scale fantasy war in which his Twitch chat community fought against itself, with viewers' messages controlling armies in a chaotic interactive battle. The experiment drew a huge audience, pulling in over a million likes, as fans shared clips and joked about the absurd strategies and rivalries that emerged during the simulated conflict.
Why now: The novel format of letting thousands of live viewers command armies at once is entertaining and highly shareable.
