A Singaporean writer is sharing a personal series about a lifetime of travels across India. It begins with a memory from age 18, when a heavily subsidized Singapore government volunteer tourism program took them to Kolkata's Sonagachi red light district, where they spent a month working with the children of sex workers. Readers are responding warmly to the reflective storytelling.
Why now: The personal travel storytelling series is resonating with readers interested in India and volunteer experiences.
