Gay NFL fans appear scarce on decentralized social network
Original: Tonight we are discovering that # Gay # NFL fans are not a significant # Fedi population.
A user of the decentralized social network Mastodon joked that gay NFL fans are not a significant presence there, noting the overlap of football fans and the platform's community seems small. The remark drew little engagement but touched on the platform's demographics as NFL games air tonight.
Why now: The NFL season is active and users are noticing the decentralized platform lacks sports fans from that community.
