A landscape photograph of Silverton, Colorado, taken on a moody late-September Sunday morning, is drawing attention as autumn colours move through the state's mountains. The shot frames the town through the trees, capturing the misty, overcast atmosphere of the season. It comes as photographers across Colorado share fall foliage images under the popular 'Fallorado' tag.
Why now: Fall foliage season in Colorado's San Juan Mountains is at its peak, driving heavy sharing of autumn landscape photography.
