Ukraine says it hit Russian Su-34 fighters at Khanskaya airbase
Original: су-34
Ukraine's SBU security service says a drone attack on the Khanskaya military airfield in Adygea, southern Russia, destroyed two Russian fighter jets, reportedly Su-34s. The claim quickly spread as one of the most searched topics in Russia, with Ukrainian officials presenting it as a deep strike far from the front line. Russian authorities have not confirmed the losses, and independent verification of the damage remains limited so far.
Why now: A claimed Ukrainian strike deep inside Russia on valuable Su-34 aircraft is breaking news with major military significance.
