An unaffiliated resistance account linked to the US National Park Service community, AltNPS, is sharing criticism of the Trump administration's actions affecting the parks, asking whether ongoing incidents can still be called accidents. Commenters are treating the posts as part of broader activist resistance within federal agencies, with hashtags referencing a coup and activism circulating among park service supporters.

Why now: Ongoing concerns about political interference and cuts affecting US national parks are driving activist discussion online.
