CBS News is examining whether artificial intelligence will replace workers or simply change how jobs are done, as AI systems are increasingly trained on workplace tasks. The report reflects a wider global debate about automation, with employers, employees and policymakers weighing fears of job losses against the possibility that AI will transform roles rather than eliminate them.
