Mockery over White House renaming artificial intelligence strategy
Original: I'm surprised the Tangerine changed # ArtificialIntelligence to "Super Intelligence" and not "American Intelligence" 🙃 #
Commenters are mocking the US administration's decision to rebrand artificial intelligence as 'super intelligence' in its policy messaging, joking that given the administration's style, it could just as easily have been renamed 'American Intelligence'. The quip is circulating among US politics observers who see the terminology change as more branding than substance.
Why now: The US government's shifting AI terminology is drawing ridicule on social media.
