Trump says he may not help Democrats if they win
Original: "In crude Ohio rally speech, Trump says he may not help if Democrats win" # Taco # Politics # News # USA # Government #
At a rally in Ohio, Donald Trump delivered a crudely worded speech suggesting he might not come to the country's aid if Democrats win elections. The remarks drew sharp criticism from opponents who called them an attack on democratic norms, while supporters dismissed the backlash as overreaction to typical rally rhetoric. The comments quickly spread across social media and news outlets.
Why now: Trump's suggestion he would withhold help depending on which party wins strikes many as a rejection of basic democratic duty.
