Colony, the 2016 Sci-Fi Drama From the House of the Dragon Creator, Ended Too Soon

Original: 2016 Sci-Fi Drama Made By ‘House of the Dragon’ Creator Was Cancelled Way Too Soon

Ryan Condal, who went on to co-create HBO's House of the Dragon, made the 2016 sci-fi drama Colony, starring Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies, which was cancelled by USA Network after three seasons. Fans argue the series, about an occupied Los Angeles under alien rule, was cut down before its story could be fully told.

Why now: House of the Dragon's success has drawn renewed attention to the creator's earlier, prematurely cancelled series.
