Footage of red-billed quelea flocks is drawing attention as thousands of the small African birds line up on a fallen tree before erupting into a swirling, fluid-like cloud, moving together until they settle on a new tree. The quelea, often called the most numerous bird species on Earth, are known for these enormous, synchronised flocks that ripple like liquid across the sky.
