'Inconvenience Store' Sells Useless Gadgets as Joke Products
Original: New ‘Inconvenience Store’ Sells Pre-Tangled USB Cords, iPhone That Only Plays a Single U2 Song, Other Things You Don’t Need
A new novelty shop called the 'Inconvenience Store' is selling deliberately frustrating items, including pre-tangled USB cords and an iPhone restricted to playing a single U2 song, alongside other deliberately useless products. The concept riffs on the famous 2014 incident when Apple automatically added U2's album to millions of iPhones, turning one of tech's most mocked moments into a gag gift.
Why now: The playful jab at Apple's infamous U2 album incident and deliberately annoying gadgets is drawing attention online.
