Palestinian researcher challenges Israel's list of slain Gaza journalists
Original: Investigador palestino desmantela la lista israelí de supuestos periodistas "terroristas" asesinados en Gaza. (Eng) Inve
A Palestinian researcher has published a detailed rebuttal of an Israeli list that labelled journalists killed in Gaza as "terrorists". The work disputes the designations, arguing the documents presented as evidence do not support the claims. The exchange has drawn attention to ongoing disputes over how casualties among the press in Gaza are counted and characterised.
Why now: The Gaza war remains a focal point of global debate, and challenges to Israeli claims about killed journalists are attracting wide attention.
