With autumn setting in, social media users are sharing quiet photos of leaves changing color on a rainy Sunday morning. Posts tagged Silent Sunday encourage posting images without words, and this one shows wet trails, trees and a waterfall during a morning run. It is part of a seasonal wave of nature photography as days shorten and fall foliage begins across much of the Northern Hemisphere.
Why now: It is Sunday and the first autumn foliage is appearing, prompting the weekly Silent Sunday photo-sharing ritual.
