A Canadian internet user is recalling the days when provincial second-level domains like .sk.ca and .on.ca existed under Canada's .ca registry, and expressing disappointment that the Canadian Internet Registration Authority stopped registering them around 2010. - Whenever I see a .sk domain I get excited and think it’s a Saskatchewan website. I remember back in the day there were . sk.ca and . on.ca domain names. I found CIRA stopped registering them in 2010. So that’s sad! @ cira would be cool to bring it back! #tech #canada #internet · plzupgrademe@fedi.txw.ca · 2
