A developer has recovered control of their old World of Warcraft addon, Runestone, after two and a half weeks of correspondence through CurseForge's ticketing system. They were surprised to learn that players had been hoping for an update to the mod as recently as three years ago, and now appear to be in a position to resume maintaining it.
Why now: Players and modders are discussing addon ownership and abandoned projects resuming updates after the developer's recovery of the mod.
