Tiny Russian Mesh Repeaters Found Controlling Shahed Drones

Russian military blogger 'Flesh' has shown how small the mesh repeaters used to control Shahed drones can be. According to Sergey Beskrestnov, the compact device needs only a power supply and an internet connection to operate, meaning it can be hidden inside a private house or a car. The revelation highlights how difficult such control nodes are for Ukrainian forces and authorities to detect and neutralise.

Why now: The compact size of these drone control devices shows they can be hidden almost anywhere, raising fresh concern over air defence and counter-drone efforts in the war.
