Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine is ready to take part in talks with Russia under US auspices. He indicated that possible trilateral talks could take place this month in the UAE or another venue proposed by Washington. The announcement comes as the US pushes for a diplomatic opening in the war, now in its fourth year, though major disagreements between Kyiv and Moscow remain unresolved.
Why now: A possible trilateral meeting as soon as this month would mark a significant diplomatic development in the Russia-Ukraine war.
