President Trump has announced the creation of what he calls a 'Super Intelligence Force', to be led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton. Details about the unit's mandate, budget and relationship to existing intelligence agencies have not been spelled out, leaving analysts and officials questioning how the new body will fit within the US intelligence community and what authority it will carry.
