An essay called 'The Decoherence Trap' is drawing discussion on Hacker News. The piece, published on a personal site, examines decoherence, the quantum-mechanical process by which quantum systems lose their coherence through interaction with the environment, a concept central to debates over quantum measurement and the limits of quantum computing. Commenters are weighing in on its arguments about interpretation and practical implications.
