Apple is preparing the App Store for its upcoming foldable iPhone, reportedly called iPhone Duo. Reports say iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 include a new setting called Impersonation Risk Detection, aimed at warning users about suspicious activity that could indicate a scam attempt. The feature is not enabled by default, so users need to turn it on manually in their settings. Coverage so far focuses on how to activate it and what kinds of impersonation tactics it may flag.

Apple has released the third developer beta of iOS 27.2 and iPadOS 27.2, giving registered developers early access to the latest updates for iPhone and iPad.
